There are two double bedrooms with mountain views, 1 twin, a large bathroom with washing machine, a kitchen large enough to eat in and a lounge with sofabeds and internet TV. The house can sleep up to 8. All bedding is luxury standard. It is wifi-enabled. |
What's outside?
Woods! The house a patio with tables and chairs, terraced gardens with sun loungers, and a large chestnut wood, complete with tree house. There are hammocks! Cars park at the entrance to the village, making the hamlet car free and safe for children to explore. The woodland is renowned for mushrooms (porcini) and chestnuts and is home to deer, wild boar, eagles, badgers, porcupine, owls and even wolves. There are stunning mountain walks leaving from outside the front door, one of which leads to an abandoned village 1km up the mountain. At night the sky is pitch black and the stars are brilliant. |
What's nearby?
There is a profusion of wild swimming options close to the house, including streams, waterfalls and plunge pools in the woods surrounding the house and, five minutes' away, a large river (Reno) with small beaches along its shores. A lake half an hour away has small beaches, pedalos, cafes and sail boats for hire.
